What does StoreCheck Promos do?
It surfaces risky Shopify discount configuration, runs the cart scenarios you choose against Shopify's current Storefront behavior, and saves evidence for a launch decision.
Can the app edit my discounts?
No. Promotion review is read-only. StoreCheck Promos does not create, update, activate, deactivate, or delete discounts.
Does a cart test create an order or checkout?
No. The app creates a temporary Shopify cart to observe prices and discount outcomes. It does not create a checkout, payment, customer, or order.
What data is saved?
Saved scenario settings, scenario results, and reports are scoped to your shop. Customer records are not retained. See the privacy policy for the complete inventory and deletion behavior.
Can a report change later?
No. A generated report is an immutable snapshot. Run a fresh preflight and create a new report when the promotion changes.
What is included in Free and Starter?
Free includes live configuration review, manual cart testing, and one saved scenario. Starter includes up to 20 saved scenarios, batch run-all, and immutable PDF and CSV reports.
Does a passing result guarantee campaign performance?
No. A result is evidence for the tested inputs at that moment. It does not guarantee revenue, conversion, savings, compatibility with every app or market, or future Shopify behavior.
