What the app processes
StoreCheck Promos processes your Shopify shop domain, the app session required to keep your store connected, and the discount configuration needed to identify launch risks. This configuration can include discount titles, status, schedules, discount classes, combination settings, minimum purchase rules, and broad targeting indicators.
What the app stores
For each shop, the app can store:
- Shopify session data required to keep the app connected.
- Saved test scenarios, including a Shopify variant identifier and label, quantity, optional discount code, and optional expected total.
- Scenario results, including Shopify's returned totals, discount outcome, status, and diagnostic message.
- Immutable preflight reports containing the selected configuration findings and the latest saved scenario results.
StoreCheck Promos does not create orders, edit discounts, or retain Shopify customer records.
How the data is used
We use the data only to authenticate your shop, review promotion configuration, run the test scenarios you request, produce reports, troubleshoot failures, protect the service, and understand aggregate product usage.
Product analytics
We may record pseudonymous product events such as a scan, scenario run, or report creation. Product analytics are designed not to contain shop domains, customer data, Shopify access tokens, product identifiers, discount codes, or cart amounts.
Service providers
Shopify provides shop authentication and commerce APIs. Cloudflare provides application hosting, database infrastructure, security, and aggregate product analytics. We do not sell merchant or customer data.
Retention and deletion
Shop-scoped sessions, scenarios, run history, and reports are deleted when Shopify sends an authenticated app uninstall or shop-redaction webhook. Aggregate, non-identifying operational records may be retained to protect and improve the service. You can also request deletion while the app is installed.
Security
We use scoped Shopify permissions, encrypted transport, access controls, secret-managed credentials, and signed webhook verification. No online service can promise absolute security, but we limit collection and access to what the product needs.

To request access, correction, or deletion, email support@storecheckkit.com. Include your permanent .myshopify.com domain, but never send an access token or customer information.
